Blake is a passionate young man, whose life is a testimony to God’s power of transformation. You can read more about his story here. To the Glory of God: Live|Dead.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then the end shall come.” Matthew 24:14
The closer I draw to Jesus, the more I long for His return. I find myself asking Him, “Lord, why do you tarry?” His answer is always the same, and I’m gently led back to Matthew 24:14. The Lord is longsuffering, waiting for all to come to repentance, to come to know Him and worship Him. Or, He wants all to have the option to hear. Today, many people do not have that opportunity. He does not desire that any should perish. From Alabama to Europe, Europe to Africa, Africa to Asia, Asia to Australia… all are called to come to Him. But how shall they know that they are called if they never hear? And how shall they hear if no one preaches… if no one goes to them?
As I learned about the vast number of unreached people groups, my heart began to stir within me for them. I began to share the Lord’s burden for these people, because after all, He’s asked me to tell others! From East Africa to the Middle East – across the 10/40 Window – who will go, who will reach these? I long to be with my brothers and sisters amongst the unreached.
And if it is the Lord’s will, I too will soon be #Bootsontheroad. Until then, I occupy my watchtower in prayer. For those that are yet still lost, and those that are sacrificing all to reach them. These words are branded within my spirit: “… and then the end shall come.”
