A Missed Bus Stop

Have you heard the expression “Boots on the Ground?” Well our Live Dead Missionaries are the boots on the Silk Road. Here we’d like to take a moment and allow one of them to share part of their life with you. Some names and details have been changed, but this is a true story from this colorful, vibrant, and sometimes surprising region and those who God has called to work here.
This week was one where I expected God to do miraculous things, as is His way. Our team was praying, training, and seeking the Lord together during the day and going out in pairs every day from 8am-10am for an entire week as intensive training and sowing week.
The Holy Spirit led us to 4 women, and I do mean He led us there. Our bus miraculously missed its stop and we passed them on our way to where we were going. We had prayed God would bring people out who were open, even those who weren’t planning on going out today.
The Lord opened the opportunity for us to share the good news with these women and pray for healing for the grandmother’s hand, which was bandaged, in Jesus’ name. They then asked us to pray for their sweet daughters who were handicapped. They brought them to the center of the picnic blanket and asked us to pray, of course we did, and we prayed in Jesus’ name.
We are praying for full healing in these children, but more than that we are praying for full belief in these individuals. For these children, we pray a healing that will give God glory:
And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?” Jesus answered, “ It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him. We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.” John 9:2-5 NASB
‘The women said to us, “we think that meeting you was from God.” And we said, we think so too. “Everything we heard, sitting with you as you shared, I dont know why but I loved it from my heart. I want you to come to my home and talk with everyone and I not too long from now, soon.”
I am praying this woman is a woman of peace. I am praying the other women are as well, and we will take that invitation up!!
It’s interesting, they apologized to us they didn’t have more food (they had a spread and by this time we were drinking tea together) ..”we decided last minute to come here.” I asked them when they came, “at the same moment you came to us.”
Pray with me in the name of our Lord for dreams specifically introducing them to Jesus. Pray for a hunger for this truth in their hearts. Pray for these seeds sown to go deep. Pray that the enemy would be kept far from them and that the Lord would draw them to Himself in a powerful way. Praise God for bringing us to those who are open to hear His name.
