We write to you today to let you know that we are well in the midst of the instability caused by the amateur video. We have seen protests and riots here where the leaders spoke about retaliation against all Americans. One spoke during a rally Wednesday evening warning that Westerners have to know that “whenever they insult our [religion’s founder], we will take revenge on their representatives here” in this city.

Please pray for us as we continue to be representatives of more than just America, here in this country. There are so many among us who are loving, kind, hospitable, and reachable. Pray that the Lord will give us peace, protection, and guidance as we try to reach them.
