In recent years, the Internet has played a key role in spreading the Gospel throughout Iran. Pastors, evangelists, and laypeople reach Iranians through websites, chat rooms, and social media. Many people who are curious about Jesus will turn to the Internet at some point to aide their search, especially when they don’t know of any Christians in their area. Online, they can secretly research Christianity and even “meet” with other believers. You can read a little more about it here.
Dear God, today we pray for Internet ministries that have a heart for Iranians. Bless their efforts, and continue to draw people to Jesus through these sites and groups. Direct those who are seeking truth to the right online sources. Protect them in their search so that they are not confused by distorted doctrine and cults. Instead, lead seekers to Christians who will share the Gospel clearly and boldly. Thank you for believers who are sharing their faith online. Continue to draw Iranians to yourself through these online efforts. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
