Turn from their violence to Jesus
A team leader reports:
News outlets have reported the closures of 21 U.S. Embassies due to specific, credible threats. Recently, we received two State Dept. notices for areas where we live indicating a kidnapping threat to Westerners and warning that attacks may employ a wide variety of tactics including suicide operations, assassinations, kidnappings, hijackings, and bombings.
Prayer Requests:
- That the leaders of these groups will be visited in their dreams by Jesus Himself and turn from their violent ways.
- That the potential violence would be quelled.
- That those living in these areas as witnesses of Christ will be guarded by His heavenly host.
- That Embassy personnel would be protected by His hand.
- That the light of Christ will penetrate the darkness of the dominant religion of all of these lands.
- That our family will not become overwhelmed with dread or fear as we look toward moving back to these areas.
