“Dickering” is a well practiced art form in the African marketplace. Coming from the States where we don’t do it much and it may be uncomfortable (do you really enjoy buying used cars?) , our m’s must learn the art of negotiating in a second language in a different culture over costly deals. An East Africa Live Dead team leader requested special prayer for this coming Saturday:

We’ll be in negotiations for several rental units for Live Dead trainees this Saturday. Please ask for divine wisdom and favor—for good prices, reasonable landlords, and fair contracts.

Lord, we pray that both parties will feel good about each deal that is agreed to this weekend, amen!
