God is able to use so many different and unusual things to allow us to have conversations about Jesus. This story is all because of fingernail polish.

Recently one of our teachers had a conversation with two young ladies who stayed after class. One of them was wearing nail polish, which started a discussion about prayer. The girl without the nail polish said,
“It means she doesn’t pray. We cannot pray with painted nails.”
I asked her to explain why this is, and she responded by telling me that she doesn’t know exactly, but that’s just what she has been told. She then planned to ask and find out why she has always followed this rule. Both girls expressed the desire to hear more about the Bible and to learn more about what this teacher believes.

Pray for continued open doors with these young ladies and that they will begin to see that Jesus loves them and died for them.
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)
